Slow Cooker Lentil Turkey

This is my favorite recipe!!. It's so easy to make and my family loves it! I like to serve my lentils with white rice and Spinach salad.
1. First chopped onions and Garlic
My dear Grandma told me to always cut the white bottom part of the onion because that will make your food sour (I am not sure until this day if is true but I do it anyways because Grandma knows.
About one big onion and 3 cloves of garlic
In a slow cooker put your ground turkey or beef.
Add 1 teaspoon of Cumin and 1 teas spoon of dry Basil 3 tablespoon of Chicken bouillon and 1 teaspoon of black pepper
Add the chopped onions and garlic
Add the Red Chilli pepper paste (Recipe in previous post Stuffed Peppers) or 1 can of tomato Paste. Mix Well
Add the lentils 16oz bag Mix Well
Add 4 cups of water and 1 can off chicken stock
Cook in High for 4 Hours
Go ahead and pick up the kids from school, stop by the library or finish Laundry. Now is Ready!! YUMM
Buen Provecho!! Riquisimo
